Striking Contrast

The heartfelt editorial, “Why The Delay in Ethiopian Jewish Aliyah?” (Dec. 30), was right on the mark.

There’s a striking contrast between 4,500 Falash Mura, already approved for aliyah, still stagnating in Ethiopia for alleged lack of budget in Israel, and Israel’s success in bringing in 200,000 Soviet Jews in 1990 alone.
