Israeli-Americans show support for Parker Jewish Institute

New Hyde Park, New York, June 3, 2020 – Honoring Parker Jewish Institute’s dedicated frontline workers, the Israeli-American Council delivered meals and masks during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The outreach is part of IAC Care, an initiative of the Israeli-American Council, which is supporting health care workers across the region throughout the pandemic. The organization is raising money and delivering thousands of meals and medical supplies to nursing homes and hospitals.

The organization reached out to Parker to see how it could best help the skilled nursing facility. With that guidance, the IAC provided 40 kosher meals from Lawrence-based Muscat Glatt Kosher, 100 masks and 100 Osem Soup powder containers for quick, hot snacks for the staff to enjoy.

The IAC is dedicated to building an engaged and united Israeli-American community that strengthens the Israeli and Jewish identity of the next generation, the American Jewish community, and the bond between the people of the United States and Israel.

“Parker Jewish Institute is grateful to the Israeli-American Council and IAC Care for supporting our frontline heroes,” said Michael N. Rosenblut, Parker’s president and CEO. “In a time of crisis, this donation lifts the spirits of our health care workers.”
