The Life and Legacy of Primo Levi

May 9 , 7:30 pm

Primo Levi was Italy’s preeminent Holocaust writer. His “Survival in Auschwitz” is considered a fundamental text in our never-ending quest to understand the Shoah.

Guest speaker Professor Stanislao Pugliese will discuss Levi’s life, complex writings, political stances, some of which were unpopular in Israel and the U.S., and his legacy as a warning against resurgent fascism.

Light refreshments and coffee served.

RSVP always appreciated to templeoffice@tbeli.org.

Free and open to all.
