The Israeli Chamber Project

April 16 , 7:30 pm

The Israeli Chamber Project returns to the Baruch Performing Arts Center. The concert is ICP’s final stop on their 2019 Coast-to-Coast ‘Homage’ US tour.
At the core of the program is Johannes Brahms’ C minor Piano Quartet – a deeply personal homage to his beloved and unattainable muse, Clara Schumann. Brahms’ instruction that the title page include a blue and yellow drawing of a young man holding a gun to his head – a reference to the protagonist in Goethe’s The Sorrows of Young Werther – illustrates the turbulent drama contained in this work.
Tickets are $36 for general admission ($16 for students).
