Summer Conversations About What Matters

June 19 , 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Have you had “the conversation?” Caring Conversations About End of Life is an initiative in the New York Jewish community highlighting the importance of advance care planning. In this time of increasingly sophisticated medical technology, it’s all the more important that each of us feel assured that our healthcare wishes will be known, respected, and honored. Trained facilitators will guide participants through the process of choosing an agent who can speak for you if unable to speak for yourself, completing or updating an advance directive, and having “the conversation” with loved ones.

Light refreshments served.

Schedule: Wednesday, June 19, 2-4 p.m.; Monday, July 22, 7-9 p.m.; and Wednesday, Aug. 14, 3-5 p.m.
