Rebuilding New York’s Nonprofit Community With Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s Help

UJA-Federation of NY presents Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) in a briefing about Covid funding, including efforts to support nonprofits; successes of the last year, and future challenges, including alleviating poverty and hunger, providing supports for children and the elderly, and ensuring a safe and stable community. He will be joined by several UJA nonprofit partners, including Commonpoint Queens, JASA, Jewish Community Center of Staten Island, Jewish Community Relations Council of New York (JCRC-NY), Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty, and Mosholu Montefiore Community Center.
