Making Prayer More User-Friendly

Scholar-In-Residence Joe Rosenstein will spend the weekend offering free programs at First Hebrew Congregation. A Jewish educator and Mathematics Professor, he is the author of “Eit Ratzon,” described as a layman’s guide to Jewish prayer, now used by First Hebrew. Overcoming obstacles to prayer will be discussed November 15, at 7:30 p.m., during First Hebrew’s new Speaker Series.  Teaching and discussion will continue during Shabbat services November 16 starting at 9:30 a.m., and on November 17, at 10 a.m., when he will discuss the life-affirming psalms of Hallel.
