Jewish Response to Immigration

March 1 , 10:30 am

In observance of Community Day, Westchester Jewish Center’s World Jewry Committee and SOJAC present an introduction to the immigration and refugee crisis around Larchmont and across the country. The program begins with a panel discussion with activists and a newly arrived immigrant, and at noon evolves into a Community Day charitable activity; making pasta, sandwiches, soups, and baking/decorating cookies for Hope Community Services of New Rochelle. Also, please bring a scarf to donate to local immigrants in need. All ages welcome.
