‘Israel Shelanu’ Election Party

March 2 , 9:00 pm

Dozens of supporters of the Israel Shelanu party and members on the slate will gather on Israel’s election day, Monday, March 2, at Silvana in NYC. At the party hosted by Israel Shelanu participants will review and discuss election results coming live from Israel, while also celebrating the first American Israeli slate running for the World Zionist Congress.
Between 750,000 to a million Israelis currently living in the United States have been given a historic opportunity to vote for a party for World Zionist Congress that has only their best interests in mind. Israel Shelanu is the first-ever party of Israelis living outside of Israel contending for elections to the World Zionist Congress in the United States, an important political and funding arena that has until now exclusively belonged to the major Jewish organizations.
Among the main goals of the Israel Shelanu movement are the establishment of Hebrew language cultural centers and after-school classes for children and youth in the cities with the largest Israeli communities in the United States. These cultural centers will operate in an Israeli atmosphere with Hebrew spoken and will also hold community activities for the whole family.
