Holocaust & MLK Commemoration

January 30 , 7:00 pm

Dear Friends,
This year as we mark the 75th Anniversary of the end of the Holocaust and witness the rise of anti-Semitism, racism and Xenophobia at home and around the world, we need to stand together to combat the virulent virus of hatred.  Yes, more than ever, the message of Dr. King which speaks of unity in our diversity and the equality of all of God’s children needs to be heard.  Faced with these realities and challenges, Temple Israel is bringing together and hosting the largest coalition of religious institutions, houses of worship and spiritual leaders across the religious spectrum to make the statement, “Never Again!” By participating in this historic event, we show that while we are people of different faiths, we share the same fate.
Therefore, I personally invite you to attend and request that you publicize this most important memorial tribute in honor of the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and in remembrance of the beloved six million who perished during the Holocaust.
