Encountering Genocide

October 29, 2018 , 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Two panel discussions featuring scholars and critics from both sides of the Atlantic ask what history has to teach us about taking action in our own time against the backdrop of Danish civil resistance against the Nazi persecution of Danish Jews. On the occasion of the 75th anniversary, these will be rich discussions of what this resistance can teach us about Holocaust history, early warnings of genocide, and our contemporary moment. Co-presented with the Consulate General of Denmark and Humanity in Action.

Free; advance registration recommended for each of the two panels.

*There will be panels at both 2 and 4 p.m.
