DNA & the Golden Rule: Ethics of Genetic Genealogy

October 29 , 6:30 pm

“Legal Genealogist” Judy G. Russell (legalgenealogist.com) offers expert advice on how to navigate the ethical challenges associated with DNA testing for genealogy, such as granting consent for those unable to do so, who ‘owns’ our DNA, and what we can disclose about a cousin who has tested. Learn how applying the Golden Rule can guide one through many if not most of the situations in which genetic genealogists and the public find themselves.

(CJH’s programs frequently sell out; purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended.)
