Comedian Allan Fuks: Piece of Idiot

April 13 , 9:00 pm

Comedian Allan Fuks, host of This Week In Sex (one of the most popular sex-comedy podcasts in the country), has announced two back-to-back tapings of his upcoming stand up album The Worst Jew at the Triad Theater in the Upper West Side of Manhattan (158 W 72nd St, New York, NY 10023) on April 13th, 2019 at 9pm and 11pm.

The Worst Jew will feature Fuks, who has appeared on The Wendy Williams Show, NPR Morning Edition and Sirius XM, detailing his self-proclaimed “ghoulish appearance,” his Russian-Ukrainian Jewish upbringing in the South Bronx, having an unfortunate last name (actually pronounced “Fyooks”), and a barrage of humiliating sexual experiences.

When asked why he chose the name “The Worst Jew” for the show Fuks stated, “Well, I’m not technically the worst. I think someone like Bernie Madoff or Son of Sam would be way ahead of me, but probably not in the eyes of my family.”

Fuks married (and divorced) a shiksa, flunked out of college, and currently makes a living as a stand-up comic by poking fun at his family to thousands of strangers every year.

“Basically, I’m every Jewish parent’s worst nightmare,” Fuks said.

Although his mother is slightly more supportive of Fuks’ career, he senses his father would likely put an end to it if possible. “Let me put it this way,” Fuks said. “If my father could hire a hitman and get away with it, I believe he’d do it. Frankly, I’m surprised he hasn’t already. Hell, this could be the show that finally pushes him over the edge! Buy your tickets while you can!”

Fuks also sees The Worst Jew as somewhat of a cautionary tale. “Parents – if you’re reading this, hire me to be your scared straight program! My life is in such shambles I’ll scare all your kids right back to medical school!”
