Cartoonists Against the Holocaust

May 13 , 10:00 am - 11:30 am

The Holocaust & Human Rights Education Center and the Harold and Elaine Shames JCC on the Hudson host an exhibition, “Cartoonists Against the Holocaust.”

A small number of American political cartoonists used their art to protest injustice and inspire the public to demand the rescue of Hitler’s victims. The exhibit will display a selection of these cartoons in the context of the Nazi genocide and the world’s response as events unfolded, through a lecture and PowerPoint presented by Steve Goldberg and Julie Scallero, co-directors of education at HHREC in White Plains.
