Join us for the JICNY Big Apple Networking series – Networking & Learning from Successful Jewish Internationals. This event is open to everyone.

This month we welcome Guest Speaker, Sander Gerber , CEO/CIO of Hudson Bay Capital

Sander Gerber is the CEO/CiO of Hudson Bay Capital Management LP, an absolute-return, multi-strategy alternative investment firm. In 1991, he became a member of the American Stock Exchange, acting as an options market maker. In 1997, he founded Gerber Asset Management LLC to develop proprietary investment strategies, many of which are utilized by Hudson Bay today. In 2005 Mr. Gerber founded Hudson Bay which absorbed Gerber Asset Management’s business.  He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania, with a BSE in Finance from Wharton and a BA in Humanistic Philosophy from the College

Sander served as a member of the AIPAC Board of Directors from 2004 to 2016 and Vice Chair of the Woodrow Wilson Center from 2008 to 2016.  Sander is also involved in global political activism, and was the key citizen activist behind the passage of the Taylor Force Act, a bipartisan and paradigm shifting anti-terrorism bill. In November 2017, he  was awarded JINSA’s 2017 Henry M. “Scoop” Jackson Distinguished Service Award for championing this act.  He is fellow at the Jerusalem Center of Public Affairs and a distinguished fellow at JINSA Gemunder Center for Defense and Strategy. He resides in New York City with his wife and seven children.
