Award-Winning Author Francine Klagsbrun

May 14 , 7:30 pm

TBI’s Library Committee presents award-winning author, editor, and Jewish Week columnist Francine Klagsbrun, in conversation with Susan Isaacs. They will discuss Ms. Klagsbrun’s latest book, a biography of Golda Meir, the iron-willed leader and tea-and-cake-serving grandmother who became the fourth Prime Minister of Israel. Please join us as we welcome Ms. Klagsbrun and hear her insightful account of this truly remarkable leader of Israel.

Ms. Klagsbrun is the author of more than a dozen books, including “The Fourth Commandment,” which explores the Sabbath, its origins, purpose and traditions. She is also the editor of the well–known Free to Be . . . You and Me. Ms. Klagsbrun serves on the editorial board of Hadassah, is a regular columnist for The Jewish Week, and is contributing editor to Lilith Magazine.
