Artist’s Reception and Gallery Opening
June 30 , 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
On Sunday, June 30 at 5 pm, the Temple Adas Israel Gallery Space in Sag Harbor will host a wine and cheese opening reception for Mixed Media artist Michele Pulver Feldman and her exhibition, “Serendipitous Creativity.” Inspired by the likes of Matisse, Cezanne, Picasso, Monet, Tiffany and Hockney, Ms. Feldman is best known for her images that portray modern Jewish life. The evening is free and open to the community.
About the creative process, Michele says, “it is what drives me; I practice what I like to call “Serendipitous Creativity.” I am not always quite sure how a piece will turn out, but I allow that “AH HA” moment to guide me and take me for a “creative ride”- landing in an unexpected but wonderful place. For this reason, I would describe the pieces I create as unexpected and whimsical. My artwork represents both my love of color and art history. I use a variety of techniques including silk painting, collage, mono printing, acrylic painting and pyrography.”
Pulver Feldman’s background includes a degree in art from The Parsons School of Design. She is a member of the American Jewish Artists Guild as well as the Pomegranate Guild. Michele has published her work through her company, Another Creation by Michele Pulver, LLC since 1988.
Michele is a native New Yorker, but now she currently resides in Connecticut with her family. Studio visits and other information can be obtained throughwww.anothercreation.com or by calling (203) 322-4277.
The exhibition will run through August. The synagogue and gallery are located at the corner of Atlantic Ave. and Elizabeth St., Sag Harbor. The gallery is open by arrangement. Call the Temple at (631) 725-0904. For more information, email Ann Chwatsky at email@example.com.
