Antisemitism, Identity Politics, American Identity

May 7 , 7:00 pm

The American Jewish Historical Society will host Eric Ward, long-time civil rights activist and executive director at Western States Center, for a special program on anti-semitism and identity politics in the U.S. Joining Mr. Ward for a panel discussion will be Tony Michels, professor of American Jewish History at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Christina Greer, associate professor of political science at Fordham University. Together, these panelists will pull on the threads that connect past and present, and help us begin the process of unraveling the prevalence of anti-semitism, and bigotry more broadly, in America.
