Abraham’s Table series
March 3 , 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
The Interfaith Coalition of Brooklyn invites all to Abraham’s Table, our continuing discussion and panel workshop series this Sunday, Mar 3, 2019, 4:00 pm at EMJC. Light refreshments will be served. Donations and sponsors are always appreciated and welcomed!
Abraham’s Table is a continuing series organized by the Interfaith Coalition of Brooklyn. Each session focuses on a theme of mutual interest. To date, topics include: “Roles of Women in Our Sacred Texts,” “Understandings of God,” “Welcoming the Stranger: Immigrants and Refugees.” On Sunday, March 3 we will explore the meaning of “Birth.”
Our sessions include brief presentations by a Jew, a Muslim and a Christian. These talks serve as a springboard for conversation among participants, who are seated in small groups. Discussion questions are provided in case of need. Light refreshments add to the sharing. Abraham’s Table is an opportunity to learn from one another about things that matter deeply to all of us, and to strengthen the ties between our communities.
