9th Annual Jewish Summer Festival
July 25, 2018 , 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Sponsored by Chabad at Stony Brook, the festival will feature live entertainment, a beachside kosher barbecue, and fun for the whole family. This year, headlining the festival will be Steve Max, a full-time professional Simon Says leader who is known nationally for his appearances on TV and at NBA halftime shows.
There will also be a performance by critically acclaimed Israeli singer, Yoel Sharabi, and a live, interactive graffiti art presentation. Fun activities for children will include face painting, giveaways and inflatables as well as balloon twisting and cotton candy.
“Of course, the festival is about families and friends simply coming together for a good and fun time,” said Rabbi Motti Grossbaum of Chabad at Stony Brook. “But it’s also about Jewish families and individuals of all ages, backgrounds and affiliations coming together as one nation with one heart to have a good time and celebrate our rich tradition. At its core, this is a celebration of Jewish unity and Jewish pride. ”
Advance tickets are available online for only $5 or for purchase day of the festival for $10. To purchase tickets and for more information, visit www.JewishSummerFestival.com.
