2nd Night Annual Passover Seder

April 20 , 6:30 pm

We are looking forward to our annual 2nd Night Passover Seder at Mount Sinai! The Passover Seder has many layers to it. It is a celebration of rebirth of Spring time. It is a time for renewal and cleaning out the “stale” places in our lives. It is a holiday at the center of which is a narrative of an oppressed people seeking freedom. Everyone is welcome to the table. We take on a posture of freedom and at the same time we acknowledge that there are those who right now are not free.

This year we will sing our favorite songs. We will read the Haggadah and eat the ritual food. We will take a closer look at how the Seder is a call for social justice today. That this ancient ritual meal is also an opportunity for all of us to hear the call of the oppressed right now.

Join us, bring your family your friends. Enjoy the beauty of the Mount Sinai community. And in some small way begin to take the steps with us towards Freedom for All.

Everyone is welcome.

*Must RSVP by Thursday, April 11.
