When Transitions to Work approached Prime Motor Group, a New England-based company owned by David Rosenberg that runs 23 auto dealerships, he said, “Sign us up.” Rosenberg passed the opportunity on to all of his general managers, and Mike Brown of Prime-Toyota quickly recognized the opportunity to hire talented candidates and also make a difference.
Isaac Varon has been part of Brown’s team since June, 2013. Varon is responsible for keeping the dealership looking like new inside and out. As Varon finishes one task, he makes a plan for executing on the next one. Varon exceeds all of his expectations and is a model employee, said Brown, who admires Varon’s commitment and dedication. Despite a commute of an hour and thirty minutes, Varon is always on time and always ready to work. “Everyone loves Isaac. He is like the mayor,” Brown said.
Varon loves his job and his colleagues. His favorite task is taking the old tires from the service shop to the recycling center. He could use a cart to make the job easier, but prefers instead to think of it as his daily workout. Prior to joining Prime Motor Group, Isaac graduated from Needham High School, Lesley University Threshold Program with a focus in Business and Transitions to Work. l
