The NY Jewish Week was born in the late 1970s. A small tabloid, it was produced out of an office outfitted with typewriters and a ticker-tape machine. That newspaper has grown in size and sophistication to become a highly regarded publication known for its high-level reporting and diverse analysis and opinion.
Today, the newspaper has three regional editions serving New York City, Westchester County and Long Island. The newspaper reaches more than 55,000 households each week, and the online edition receives hundreds of thousands of monthly visitors. Over the years, The NY Jewish Week has won numerous local and national journalism awards for its reporting.
The NY Jewish Week is part of The Jewish Week Media Group.
